Is there an oversized mailbox option?
Yes. The oversized choice in our Cedar Post + Mailbox offer pairs the Stanley XL black steel mailbox with a natural cedar post for a proposed $449 installed. The box measures about 24.8 inches deep × 11.7 inches wide × 15 inches tall outside. It is non-locking; parcel fit depends on the door opening. Do I need to buy anything separately?
For a standard replacement, no. The proposed package covers the mailbox, suitable support and hardware, standard numbers, labor, normal consumables, travel within the confirmed route and ordinary removal. Upgrades and exceptional work are shown separately before you approve.
Are the post and setting materials included?
Yes. The proposed package includes a new suitable post or treated wood core, mounting hardware and water-free post-setting foam. We plan no purchased gravel and reuse suitable native soil for the surface finish. The final product and foam method are checked before confirming the job. Removing the old mailbox does not guarantee that its hole can be reused.
Can you add our family name?
Yes. The proposed name finish is +$69 in a standard modern, classic or script style, or +$89 to request a specific font. It includes two matching outdoor-vinyl name designs in one color, up to 20 characters, with a suitable smooth panel where needed. You approve the final spelling, font, color, size and layout before production. Paid fonts, logos, dimensional metal/acrylic cutouts and unusual layouts receive a separate quote.
Do I need a photo before choosing?
No. Choose your package first. Later, an optional photo helps us check the current post, footing, surroundings and mounting conditions. An on-site review may still be needed.
What about USPS, my HOA and buried utilities?
USPS generally calls for mail entry 41–45 inches above the road and a door 6–8 inches behind the curb. We check the location, neighborhood rules and jurisdiction before confirming. Utility marking must be completed before digging; private irrigation or lighting lines may need a separate locate. Required approvals can affect timing.
Can you remove a brick mailbox or a big concrete base?
Those need a separate quote. Ordinary removal covers a typical post and removable small footing. Masonry demolition, large foundations, paving cuts, major roots and disposal requiring special equipment are outside standard replacement.
Is the locking package completely theft-proof?
No mailbox is theft-proof. The Cedar locking choice uses the MailSafe mailbox with a locking compartment and two keys. Check the delivery opening and item dimensions; it is not a parcel locker for every package. Keep the keys secure.
Can I book or pay through this preview?
You can send an order request. Your contact details, chosen package and options are saved for private review and purchasing preparation. Sending a request does not take payment, reserve stock or book installation. The optional photo remains local and is not uploaded. Final pricing and installation are confirmed after review.
