OWNER’S WORKING BRIEF · RESEARCHED OCTOBER 28, 2026
Tampa Mailboxes.
A small service with a clear promise.
Curated mailbox replacement and curb appeal, coordinated by you and installed by an independent local provider. Lead with an installed package, then verify conditions. Keep the offer simple; make the scope precise.
Lower-cost plastic option: Parsons
Parsons PL10B020, item 812711, is $18.98 box only in the October 30 catalog check for ZIP 33616. Its black polypropylene body is listed at 3 lb and 875 cubic inches, with UV inhibitor and predrilled mounting holes. Match code A; mounting hardware and address numbers are not included in the box. Local pickup stock remains unconfirmed.
It is $11 less than the standard Elite. We retain the proposed installed package prices, improving contribution by $11.83 per box after the supply-tax reserve. With Gothic, the $369 package models $252.18 variable cost and $116.82 contribution. With RELIABILT steel, the $499 single-box package models $371.55 cost and $127.45 contribution. Fit, number adhesion and any name-panel attachment still need a sample check.
Standard white Elite added
Architectural Mailboxes E1100WAM, item 5117574, is $29.98 box only in the October 30 catalog check for ZIP 33616. It is a standard-size white option alongside the $29.98 standard black Elite, with no package surcharge or change to the modeled margin. The larger white E1600WAM remains a separate $36.98 box and +$20 package option. Match code A; mounting hardware and address numbers are not included with the box and remain covered by the package budget. Local pickup stock is unconfirmed.
Added: RELIABILT factory black steel post
Model FQS71026A-A, item 5517813, costs $121 post only in the October 30 catalog check for ZIP 33616. It supports one or two mailboxes and includes two mounting brackets. It requires a separate 4×4 wood support; the existing $10.58 full-post allowance is included, with $2 cut-end treatment. Factory finish removes the optional paint task. The instructions estimate 20 minutes for assembly only.
Proposed single-box price is $499 with an Elite black box: about $383.38 variable cost and $115.62 contribution, using a $110 installer target. A shared two-Elite estimate is $649 total, about $485.53 cost and $163.47 contribution, using a $150 installer target. Those are planning assumptions before owner time and fixed overhead. Shared placement, mounting fit and manufacturer acceptance of foam need review; the instructions recommend concrete in loose soil.

New wood-post tier - October 30 update
Pair one of the requested preassembled wood posts with an individual mailbox. Proposed natural-finish prices start at $369 for Gothic treated pine, $379 for Slope treated pine and $399 for natural Eastern red cedar. These posts are the structural supports; no second 4 x 4 core is budgeted. The base model includes a $10.94 plastic mounting board, a $29.98 Elite black box, foam, numbers, extra hardware, ordinary removal, disposal and local travel. The Gothic base totals about $264.00 variable cost and $105.00 contribution, using a $90 installer target and $15 marketing allowance.
The wood collection offers seven mailbox choices. We restrict the 11.5 lb Stanley extra-large box to cedar's listed 30 lb capacity; the two treated posts list 15 lb. Confirm exact mounting holes, arm attachment, combined load and accepted foam method before offering a firm installation.
Painting remains a cost study
Launch natural. Cedar is unpainted. Five illustrative colors are available to explore for treated pine. At $35/hour, a single shop-finished brush/roller post models 75 active minutes and about $77.57 extra variable cost at a $149 add-on fee. A three-post same-color brush batch models 45 minutes per post and about $51.27 cost at a $99 fee. A separate visit raises the one-post model to about $124.07 cost at a $199 fee. Wet treated wood must be ready before coating; drying, recoat and handling time are separate from labor. No paint fee is bookable in the website flow.

Online ordering and wholesale supply
New lower-cost candidate: Home Depot lists the Newbury NC000MAM mailbox/post/hardware kit at $39.74 ↗. Public manufacturer and retailer descriptions include an in-ground post. Using the existing entry foam/number/supply allocations, no shipping and no extra core, modeled materials plus supply-tax reserve are $84.62. An $80 combined installer/removal/travel target plus $10 marketing, $10 rework and $9.27 processing gives $193.89 total variable cost and $105.11 contribution at a $299 sale. This is a research alternative, not a replacement of the six-kit menu. Verify all components and foam compatibility: the manufacturer specifies concrete, and the substitution is unconfirmed.
Retail alternatives: the same Classic MC11KITBAM is listed by Home Depot at $54.98 ↗, matching the Lowe’s benchmark; Ace lists it at $62.99 ↗. Prices are public page observations reviewed October 28, 2026, not Tampa checkout/delivery or stock confirmations. Retail shipping can erase a nominal saving.
Verified programs to investigate: ASAP Mailbox & More in Cape Coral offers wholesale supply-chain access ↗; Gaines advertises installer/dealer trade discounts and no minimum-order or inventory requirements ↗; Whitehall advertises wholesale access and drop shipping with no minimum orders ↗; Carolina publishes 10% off 10–19 mailposts and 15% off 20–29 ↗; and Addresses of Distinction advertises a decorative-system wholesale partner program ↗. Actual wholesale unit prices, freight, approval and availability to this business remain unverified. Postal Pro is a separate manufacturer contact lead ↗; a direct small-installer wholesale program was not established.
Buying threshold: with the Newbury illustration and $80 installer target, delivered kit cost must be about $44.49 or less before the 7.5% supply-tax reserve to hold total variable cost to $199. That leaves only about $4.75 shipping per kit above the $39.74 public listing. Ask for complete delivered-system quotes at 1, 5, 10 and 25 units, exact components, case minimums, returns/damage policies, dealer branding/territory terms and the foam installation method. Do not commit to bulk inventory solely for a percentage discount. No supplier application, message or order has been submitted. Photos, source prices, dealer terms and quote checklist ↗.
A practical supplier shortlist
Evidence: prices below came from the connected Lowe’s product catalog on October 28, 2026 and were checked again using the supplied ZIP 33616. The catalog selected S. Tampa Lowe’s, store 1629, 4210 South Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33611. Product details and pickup estimates were cross-checked on the retailer pages with that store selected. Prices exclude supplier tax and any shipping or delivery fees. Stock and fulfillment dates are a dated snapshot, not reservations; recheck the selected store and checkout before accepting a job.

For an immediate pilot, the Classic, white Hampton and Craftsman had local pickup stock at the time checked. Coastal and Locking remain options with procurement lead time. The Hillman pack is a lower-cost number alternative: confirm repeat-digit quantities, contrast, adhesion, available mounting area and applicable address/HOA requirements before substituting. Keep the $15 per-job numbers allowance until an installed sample is validated. No order was placed.

|---|---|---|---|
| Classic · $299 | Architectural Mailboxes Mailbox to Go, black ↗ MC11KITBAM · item 5117585 | $54.98 | Standard 800-cu-in steel box, slim decorative steel post and hardware. No separate wood core required. Numbers and normal installation materials are additional service costs. Steel finish can still corrode if damaged. |
| Coastal · $479 | Postal Pro Piedmont, black ↗ PP3411BL · item 1296917 | $64.98 | Large polymer mailbox with post sleeve/bracket and assembly hardware. Rust-free body. Requires a separate treated 4×4 wood core; budgeted below. Does not lock. |
| Hampton · $499 | Postal Pro Hampton, white ↗ PP300CWH · item 443114 | $74.98 | Large 1,064-cu-in polymer mailbox, matching sleeve, newspaper port and hardware. Requires a separate treated 4×4×48-in core per listing. White traditional alternative; not a locking model. |
| Craftsman · $599 | Step2 Lakewood, brown/black ↗ 537300 · item 4854768 | $129.00 | Timber-look resin sleeve, coordinating box, chute and assembly hardware. Installation over a separate wood core. Catalog search calls it large; product specifications call it extra large. Verify actual internal capacity and core length from current instructions before ordering. |
| Locking Edit · $699 | Architectural Mailboxes Oasis 360, black ↗ 6300B-10 · item 1176065 | $131.72 Mailbox only | Large locking box, front/rear retrieval. Base concept uses a finished yielding 4×4 wood post plus manufacturer adapter 7540B-10. Adapter price is unverified; $30 is an allowance. Locking is not theft-proof and parcel acceptance is limited by the opening. |
The current Architectural Mailboxes identifiers replace some older Gibraltar-branded listings. Do not order an older discontinued equivalent just because the model name looks similar. Images are supplier product photographs downloaded from the catalog for this private concept, not photos of completed Tampa Mailboxes work.
Posts, hardware and fit
Do not treat a decorative sleeve as the structural post. The Piedmont, Hampton and Lakewood need a separately supplied treated wood core. The updated model budgets one whole Severe Weather 4×4×8-ft ground-contact treated post, $10.58 observed, item 552328, model Y2L40408-GC ↗ per wood-post job, plus $2 for cut-end treatment. Cut to the current model instructions; no leftover-wood credit or reused-post saving is assumed. Stock for these newly researched installation supplies has not been checked. For Oasis, the manufacturer specifies compatible posts or a wood-post adapter; use existing mailbox holes and avoid drilling the box floor. Oasis mounting instructions ↗ · 7540B-10 adapter listing ↗. That page lists item 666872; another Lowe’s record uses 647148, so confirm the current item by model. The catalog search did not return a valid price for the adapter.
An alternative researched post is Hamilton 7510B-10, item 965131, $120 observed ↗. A manufacturer response lists it as Oasis-compatible. It costs more than the proposed wood/adapter allowance and needs its own roadside-support review; do not substitute it silently.
Numbers and simple upgrades

|---|---|---|---|
| Included reflective numbers | PATIKIL silver reflective set ↗ S25112400UX1806 · item 7995987 | $14.49 for four 0–9 sets | Budget $15 per job. Up to five digits on two sides where fit allows. Confirm repeat-digit counts; a long address with many identical digits can need another pack. Silver on black, or a contrasting dark backing on white. Adhesion and flat area must be checked. |
| Individual reflective alternative | RELIABILT 4-in reflective silver “1” ↗ 847591 · item 63932 Hillman 5-in reflective black “0” ↗ 844106 · item 109366 | $2.98 / digit example $2.28 / digit example | Individual digits can be replenished locally if stock allows. Other digit prices and fit must be checked. Ten digits at $2.98 cost $29.80, exceeding the $15 base allowance; re-cost before substituting. |
| Premium dimensional plaque | RELIABILT 5-in black metal “1” ↗ 27781PKBLG · item 1170760 | $5.98 / example digit | +$89 proposed for up to five metal digits on one contrasting panel; keep basic mailbox numbers. Other digits and included fasteners need confirmation. Five digits $29.90 + backing/hardware $15 + labor $15 + supply-tax reserve $3.37 + incremental processing $2.67 = $65.94 cost; $23.06 contribution. Mount on an approved panel/post surface, not drilled through a locking mailbox. |
| Preferred solar upgrade | RELIABILT solar aluminum address sign ↗ 69125 · item 5144304 | $34.98 33616 / store 1629 lookup | +$99 proposed. $34.98 sign + $10 panel/hardware + $15 labor + $3.37 supply-tax reserve + $2.97 processing = $66.32 incremental cost; $32.68 contribution. Verify number capacity, sunlight, dimensions, finish and mounting panel fit before sale. Not a universal post cap. |
| Low-cost cap alternative | RELIABILT solar 4×4 cap, black ↗ QPP70-K5CS-BK-B1 · item 5993516 | $9.98 | Do not sell as a universal upgrade. Check actual cap opening versus a nominal 4×4 post and allow clearance. Molded Piedmont/Hampton/Lakewood tops and the steel Classic post may not accept it. A cap accent is not necessarily address illumination. |
The complete installation kit
Price the support hidden inside each decorative sleeve, the setting materials, mounting hardware and finishing supplies. The kit prices already include their advertised brackets and assembly fasteners; do not buy those twice. Tools are supplied by the installer under the labor quote.
| Package | Mailbox / kit | Additional structural wood | Special mount / finish | Setting-material purchase allowance | Numbers + extra hardware + prep | Total materials before supplier tax |
|---|
Every ordinary purchased material
- One selected box or kit. Classic includes a structural steel post, bracket and assembly hardware. Do not buy a second post or duplicate included mounting hardware.
- One 4×4×8-ft ground-contact treated post at $10.58 plus $2 cut-end treatment for the sleeve and locking packages. Cut to verified instructions. The Classic needs no separate wood core.
- Fast 2K Post Anchor, 33.8-fl-oz kit, $19.98 observed ↗: one kit is the default foam purchasing assumption. Approximate expanded fill is 0.5 cu ft; actual quantity follows the prepared hole. Extra ordinary foam needed for an accepted job stays included. No concrete or purchased gravel is budgeted.
- Reflective/high-contrast address numbers: $15/job allocation for the agreed visible faces, including repeated digits. Buy only the needed sets/digits; verify counts, contrast and adhesion. Names remain optional.
- Extra fasteners/mounting consumables: Classic $2 allocation because kit hardware is included; other packages retain $10. Locking adapter $30 and exposed-post finish/cap $10 remain allowances. Use compatible hardware and mounting holes.
- Cleaning, cloths, alignment tape and ordinary waste supplies: Classic $2, other packages $4. Reusable tools and required protective equipment are supplied under the installer quote. Transport, ordinary removal and disposal are included in the combined installer fee, not charged twice.
Water-free foam is now the standard budget
Fast 2K at $19.98 / kit and Sika PostFix at $16.98 / pouch are pictured and linked in the catalog ↗. Both are two-part post-setting products with no added water. Fast 2K lists approximately 0.5 cu ft fill and additional work after 15–30 minutes; Sika lists approximately 0.7 cu ft fill and a 2-hour final set. Condition products to the manufacturer’s required temperature and follow the actual instructions. One kit is not a guarantee for every hole. Fast 2K product data ↗ · Fast 2K installation instructions ↗ · Sika instructions ↗.
No carried gravel: remove the old mailbox and post, inspect the exposed hole and reuse suitable native soil for the surface finish. An old post can leave a large footing, loose soil, roots or standing water. Removal alone does not prove the hole is suitable or that one foam kit is enough. Review unusual conditions before accepting the standard job; do not automatically add gravel or concrete back into the base kit.
Product fit remains open: the Classic supplier specifies concrete for its steel post ↗. The foam substitution is a proposed change requiring manufacturer acceptance before that SKU is offered with foam; it is not a verified approved assembly. Postal Pro’s Piedmont instructions ↗ and Hampton instructions ↗ describe tamped soil; verify the proposed foam substitution there too. Piedmont core: 50–62 in; Hampton: 48 in. Obtain the exact current Lakewood 537300 sheet before cutting. Do not accept a foam job until the selected system and site are confirmed suitable.
Where the savings actually come from: one Fast 2K kit costs $4.02 more than the former two-bag setting allowance. Removing the $5.98 gravel allowance makes setting/backfill supplies $1.96 cheaper before tax. Foam chiefly reduces hauling and water handling. The $299 model depends much more on a complete kit, preassembly, clustered routes and a lower installer/acquisition budget.
Installer equipment and completion checklist
The combined job quote must include removal/digging and tamping tools, measuring tape, level, saw as needed, drill/driver and bits, sockets, alignment/bracing aids, product-required gloves and eye protection, transport and cleanup equipment. Reusable tools are not purchased again per job. Check kit contents, core length, foam volume/method, digits, adapter, utilities, access and approvals before departure. Check stability, doors/flag, address visibility, surface finish, waste removal and keys where applicable; take completion photos and observe cure/handling times.
Custom names, transferred as a complete aligned design
Cut outdoor vinyl and use transfer tape to place the full name design; the installer does not arrange loose retail letters. Textured or low-adhesion resin may need a compatible smooth panel and approved attachment method, so budget that in the upgrade. Verify adhesion and clearance on a sample. Keep required numbers, flags and doors clear and do not drill a locking-box floor.
| Offer | Proposed installed upgrade | Included scope | Incremental economics |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard name style | +$69 | Two matching one-line outdoor-vinyl designs, one color, up to 20 characters, modern/classic/script style, smooth panel where needed, application and final written proof approval. | In-house Cricut assumptions: vinyl/transfer tape $6; panel/attachment $8; prep $2; design/cut/weeding time $10; application $10; rework $3; materials-tax reserve $1.20; processing $2.07. Cost $42.27; contribution $26.73. Cutter ownership and final commercially usable fonts remain unconfirmed. |
| Specific-font request | +$89 | Same scope, requested font checked for availability, cutting suitability and commercial use. Paid fonts, logos, dimensional metal/acrylic cutouts and unusual layouts need a written quote before acceptance. | Outsource model: matching pair $24 observed; shipping $6 assumed; panel/attachment $8; prep $2; application $10; rework $3; materials-tax reserve $2.55; processing $2.67. Cost $58.22; contribution $30.78. Re-cost the final chosen font, size and shipping. |
Actual suppliers: SignSpecialist lists matching pairs at $24 premium vinyl / $34 reflective with font choices or your supplied font ↗; shipping and checkout total are unverified. VWAQ CMB14 lists a two-decal name set at a $14.99 sale price, limited to 12 characters and 6×12 in ↗; arbitrary-font availability is not established, and its removable-vinyl description needs durability validation. No supplier relationship has been arranged. Using the $24 outsource route for the $69 offer would leave about $11.38 contribution under these assumptions.
Production checklist: collect exact spelling/capitalization, font preference, color and placement measurements. Prepare a proof for the actual box/panel and obtain written approval before cutting or ordering. Send the installer pre-weeded transfers and the approved layout. Cricut’s permanent-vinyl guidance describes water/UV resistance and standard transfer tape; it does not guarantee a lifespan for this installation. Check commercially usable font rights before production. Cricut material guidance ↗ · Cricut font/content terms ↗. Order the first few sets if no cutter is already available; do not assume a machine purchase is required.
Unit economics: the $299 entry target
Proposed prices: $299 / $479 / $499 / $599 / $699. Every job includes ordinary old mailbox removal. The Classic is a grouped-route target; other packages keep conservative, unquoted installer allowances and their prior proposed selling prices. Foam replaces the setting allowance; purchased gravel is removed. A 7.5% supply-tax reserve is a planning assumption, not a verified tax determination. Confirm customer tax handling before promising a binding all-in checkout total. Local/consolidated procurement is assumed; add real shipping costs before acceptance.
| Per standard job | Classic | Coastal | Hampton | Craftsman | Locking Edit |
|---|
Contribution = proposed service revenue − complete material bill − supply-tax reserve − outsourced labor − marketing − contingency − processing.
Combined installer target: Classic $65 including ordinary removal/disposal and local route travel; other packages budget $150 / $150 / $165 / $180 combined. No installer has agreed to these amounts. The Classic target assumes owner-prepared kits and three or more nearby approved replacements on a route, rather than separate procurement and travel per job. Its $10 acquisition target requires referrals/neighborhood sales; the other models keep $35 per completed job. Do not treat the retail $55 installation listing as our labor quote: that provider also lists removal separately at $50.
Threshold: the Classic can pay at most about $68.72 to an installer while retaining $100 under default assumptions. At a $105 installer fee, total variable cost becomes about $235.28 and contribution $63.72; adding $35 marketing reduces contribution to $38.72. A second Fast 2K kit adds $21.48 including the supply-tax reserve and reduces the target contribution to $82.24. Interactive model and entry sensitivity table ↗.
Contribution is not profit. It excludes owner sales/coordination time, insurance, licensing/business setup, fixed software/hosting, tools, refunds beyond the reserve and income tax. Fixed overhead of $500/month would require about jobs at modeled contribution, before owner compensation. A $1,500 monthly owner-pay goal plus that $500 overhead would require about jobs. These are illustrative planning assumptions, not forecasts.
Make the promise credible
Standard installation — proposed scope
- One post-mounted residential mailbox at the existing approved delivery location, within a confirmed local route (planning radius: 20 road miles from the chosen installer dispatch point).
- Accessible soil, no obstruction or utility conflict, suitable yielding support installed to manufacturer and postal requirements.
- One ordinary old mailbox/post and small removable footing on every job. Screen for hand-tool removal within about 30 minutes. Budget one water-free foam kit, confirm the real hole volume, and include any ordinary extra foam needed for the accepted job. No purchased gravel is carried; suitable native soil provides the surface finish.
- Numbers up to five digits, two visible faces where the design permits; alternate visible location agreed if the product is too narrow.
- Necessary mounting hardware, confirmed foam setting materials, suitable existing-soil surface finish and ordinary disposal. No new landscaping or paving restoration.
- Placement/door check, final photos, and customer walkthrough. No promised turnaround until stock, utility responses and approvals clear.
Review and quote before accepting an order
- Brick/stone columns, large or reinforced foundations, shared posts, cluster boxes or proprietary HOA systems.
- Roots, rock, saturated ground, paving cuts, unsafe road access, engineered supports or traffic control.
- New location or relocation, private utility locating, irrigation repairs and any electrical work.
- Required permits/fees, HOA approval effort or special designs, extra travel and unusual disposal.
Photo screening comes after package choice. Ask for a wide view of curb/road and a close view of the post base. Photos cannot establish buried conditions. If the installer finds an unseen conflict, stop, explain and offer a written change quote; never bill an undisclosed extra automatically.
Standard eligibility and final fixed price are accepted in writing before procurement/scheduling. Do not silently substitute products. Before launch, set clear cancellation, returns, damage and workmanship policies with the installer’s actual commitments.
Requirements to build into operations
- USPS: generally 41–45 in from road surface to mailbox floor/mail entry and 6–8 in behind curb. Use the house number; a box on another street needs the full street address. Keep access clear. No raised curb or changed placement warrants local postmaster guidance. USPS recommends yielding supports such as 4×4 wood or 2-in pipe and burial no deeper than 24 in; avoid rigid heavy supports. Mailbox approval does not approve the site. USPS guidance ↗ · USPS standard ↗
- Sunshine 811: mailbox work is digging. Have the excavator manage a ticket, wait at least two full business days (excluding request day, weekends and holidays), confirm every utility response and inspect marks. A ticket alone is not clearance. Tickets last 30 calendar days; refresh when necessary. Homeowner guidance ↗ · Excavator instructions ↗
- Private lines: irrigation, landscape lighting, invisible fences and other private facilities may not be marked by 811. Ask explicitly and arrange private locating if needed. Florida’s tolerance zone extends 24 in from the outside edge of a facility; conflicts require precautions and potentially a different installation plan. Private facilities ↗ · Digging guidance ↗
- City of Tampa: its right-of-way page broadly covers installation/construction/maintenance in city ROW. Published review estimate is 12–15 business days. No mailbox-specific exemption was verified. Ask the jurisdiction whether this exact same-location replacement needs a permit; do not claim all mailbox work is exempt. Tampa ROW process ↗
- Unincorporated Hillsborough: published ROW permit base fee is $50; scope includes construction/development/utility work. The county process does not cover Tampa, Plant City or Temple Terrace. Determine road ownership and mailbox-specific applicability. Required permits and traffic control are exceptional work quoted before acceptance. County ROW process ↗
- HOAs: review the actual covenants and architectural rules before procurement. Florida law recognizes architectural standards under governing documents; these packages are not universally HOA approved. Carrollwood Village Phase I publishes approved choices as a local example. Florida §720.3035 ↗ · Local HOA guide ↗
Specialist mailbox businesses and price benchmarks
Yes: mailbox installation is an established specialty. Creative Mailbox & Sign Designs offers mailbox design, manufacturing and installation ↗. Mailbox & Sign Solutions lists installation in Tampa. For a mailbox-focused business with a comparable advertised entry price, BoxBuilt in Michigan advertises new box/post replacements from $299 with old-hardware removal ↗; its concrete method and local market differ. These sources establish competition and price positioning, not available subcontractor rates.
| Public offer | Observed price | Evidence limits |
|---|---|---|
| Creative / Covington Estates HOA PVC system installed ↗ | Approximately $425 | Closest full-package comparison. HOA page says approximate; no current quote or date verified. Confirm with provider before using externally. |
| Carrollwood Phase I decorative systems ↗ | $721.50–$1,065.60 + tax; $155 installation listed in systems | 2023 guide: historical positioning evidence, not a current offer or subcontractor bid. |
| Mailbox & Sign Solutions installation with purchase ↗ | $55 installation $50 removal separately ↗ | Live published service components; mailbox additional. Confirm location/travel/scope. Not a complete installed package and not an installer agreement available to this business. |
Position around selection + coordination + a disclosed complete scope. The value is avoiding procurement and installer management. Do not claim to be the lowest price. The $299 Classic tests a simpler entry replacement below the approximate $425 local HOA system. BoxBuilt shows a $299 starting position in another market. Materials, removal scope and geography differ, so validate Tampa delivery costs instead of assuming the same margin.
Name, domains and hosting
Recommend Tampa Mailboxes. It says what you do and where you do it. Use “Mailbox replacement & curb appeal” as the descriptor and “A little curb appeal. All taken care of.” as the brand line. Trade-name/trademark clearance remains open; domain availability is not name clearance. Curbcraft Tampa is a useful broader fallback if the business expands beyond mailboxes.

Actual Namecheap bulk availability lookup on October 28, 2026, not an inference from a search result. Availability can change; no reservation or registration. Renewal price, registrar fees, checkout tax and promotions were not verified. No GoDaddy availability check was made.
- Select the business/domain, check Florida business naming and trademark conflicts, then approve a registrar purchase. Review first-year and renewal cost, privacy, 2FA and account ownership. No purchase has been made.
- Review this private Sites draft. Keep it private until service terms, operational coverage and lead handling are ready. Static files are portable; use an approved static host if the selected domain needs a hosting setup not supported by the final Sites configuration.
- Choose a live hosting/domain route, obtain its exact DNS values, then connect the selected domain and verify HTTPS, www/apex redirects and canonical URLs. DNS and custom-domain support have not been configured.
- Provision a real business inbox and phone, then a customer lead backend with secure photo storage, routing, consent/retention policy and spam protection. Connect a payment provider only after scope/tax/cancellation rules are set. Replace demo notices and test confirmation/delivery end to end before opening publicly.
A lean launch sequence
- Validate the work: obtain at least two insured installer bids with the same standard scope, disposal, 811 responsibility, travel, workmanship and change-order terms. Confirm local business/contractor licensing and insurance requirements for the actual work with the relevant jurisdiction. No licensing exemption is assumed.
- Validate the bill of materials: use a selected Tampa ZIP/store for stock/pickup, shipping and every digit SKU; buy one sample after approval. Verify core lengths, mounting patterns, post-setting approach, reflective adhesion, address visibility and solar fit. Keep alternate SKUs behind explicit customer approval.
- Run 3–5 paid pilot jobs: in a small geographic cluster, after permits/approvals and utility responses. Track actual material spend, lead cost, close rate, owner time, installer time, return visits and disposal. Get photo/testimonial permission if you want to use those later; the draft contains no customer reviews.
- Publish only validated prices: target at least $100 contribution and preferably 25% after realistic marketing. The Classic depends on the tightest installer/acquisition targets; obtain real installer bids and verify the foam method before advertising a binding $299 price. Revise prices/scope using pilot data; offer a group-neighbor install day only when route savings support the discount.
- Market locally: a verified Google Business Profile if eligible, a focused service-area page, neighborhood/HOA permission where needed and referral requests. Avoid paid scale until lead-to-completion economics work. You handle discovery, package advice and customer coordination; the installer handles approved physical work and dig safety.
What the website actually does
Responsive curated-package catalog and configurable wood-post tier, supplier links, three add-on categories including name/font preferences and an illustrative style preview, live price estimate, package selection, property/contact form, optional later photo preview, review screen and downloadable text request. Browser field validation runs locally. Entered text is rendered safely as text. The customer request preview does not send or save leads, upload photos, take payments, reserve inventory or schedule jobs. Installer applications use a separate private submission flow. Closing the page discards the in-memory request; downloading a summary deliberately saves a local text file. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts; photos are served locally. Photo previews use local object URLs and are not transmitted.
Prepared for review. Supplier relationships, installer agreements, insurance, tax treatment, permits, actual stock, domain selection and customer-service policies remain to be validated. The draft shows the intended customer promise without claiming the business has already completed work.

Installer applications
The installer application page saves applications privately through the website. The owner review page requires the site owner to sign in. Rates and scope are agreed separately for each job. Customer package requests remain a browser-only preview.
